KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
The largest amongst Africa’s National Parks, the Kruger National Park is basically a synonym for the word “safari.” Home to over 500 bird species, 100 reptiles, nearly 150 mammals, multiple archaeological sites, and a stunningly diversity of trees and flowers, Kruger is the country’s flagship national park. Adventurers can explore the park in a 4×4, take a bush walk or fly above in a hot-air balloon.
CAPE TOWN
Perched between the ocean and the mountain, with a national park at its heart, there is nowhere like Cape Town. Cape Town, the “Mother City”, is the oldest city in Southern Africa and has a cultural heritage spanning more than 350 years. It boasts the top five national attractions of South Africa. These include a visit up Table Mountain, either by cable car or climbing up routes of varying degrees of difficulty and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, internationally acclaimed as one of the great botanical gardens of the world. The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, one of the city’s main tourist attractions, offers the visitor a unique shopping and holiday experience on a scenic working harbour.
